Maine Senate President Michael Thibodeau (R-Waldo) joined Governor Paul LePage in calling for more funding for the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency (MDEA) to battle the growing menace of illegal drugs in our state. Senate President Thibodeau says the highly addictive drugs are poisoning our children’s’ futures and negatively impacting, directly or indirectly, every citizen of Maine. In addition to adding more drug agents, the Governor’s budget proposal also calls for more prosecutors and judges to deal with the increase in drug dealers in Maine.
